I’ve been wanting to upgrade to a classy, streamlined, user friendly blog for a long time so after three years, here we are!

I will leave this blog open as I have a tonne of posts that I could unfortunately not convert over, this blog had a communication problem with my new blog! Don’t you love technology lol. However all new posts will be at the new blog.

Twin Baby Belly - Sydney Maternity Photographer

I did a maternity session on the weekend for our good friends who are expecting not one but two little bundles in the next month or two! Poor mum is starting to feel tired as you would imagine but she looks great, you would hardly tell there are two babies in there!

Can't wait to shoot their newborn session soon (but not too soon little ones, stay put for a little while longer!)

Ok now I know I'm biased but isn't my little girl just the most beautiful thing! She has started dance class and got her first outfit yesterday, she is so excited and constantly keeps alternating between her shoes in the house. I'm so proud!

What a fun cake smash session I had today :) Little A is such a smiley girl, she absolutely loved her cake and got straight into it without any delay. After a few minutes she was off and running, there was cake everywhere. She had a great time and so did I :)

I just love the first one, it looks like she's going to dive right in! I love the handprint she made in the cake.

Last year I had a photography session to shoot advertising photos for Our Lady Star of the Sea Preschool in Terrigal and Forestville on the NSW Central Coast. The co-ordinator was kind enough to send me some photos recently of their advertising, one of which is on the side of a bus, it's huge and looks great! The other photos are of one of their brochures.

A few weeks ago I had a session with my best friend and her husband and her gorgeous little belly. We had such a lovely session, started off at home and then went to the park to snap a few more shots. We had a lovely time although poor Sam was freezing!

I had such a fun session today. I shot little M's cake smash. At first he wasn't really sure about the texture of the icing and wasn't very happy but once he realised it was a chocolate cake all for him he soon cheered up! And as you can see he made quite a mess lol.

I shot the most beautiful Vow Renewal Ceremony yesterday! The couple were so warm and sweet and you could really see how much love they have for each other and their family after all these years.

Thankfully the rain held off for them to have the ceremony outside before the skies opened up and they signed their certificate and cut their cake inside.

I had such a fun session today. I photographed two gorgeous little guys, both with the sweetest personalities! I received a beautiful warm welcome when I arrived by the 2.5 year old and he showed me around his house, such a little sweetie.

We had a fun time out at the park and then back to the house for the rest of the session.

I had such a fun session today with little H although he was totally not interested in eating his cake! He played around with it for a little bit but lost interest quickly, although not quick enough to stop him ending up in a massive mess!

I was honoured to shoot Kristy and Steve's wedding on Friday and what a beautiful day it was! There was so much love between the couple, you can really see they adore each other. We were very lucky with the weather, the rain held off until we were inside the reception!

First Day of Preschool - Sydney Children's Photographer

Today was my baby's first day of preschool! It has been a long time coming as she's quite the little handful but I was a bundle of nerves sending her off this morning. She woke up pretty confident and happy to go and walked in eagerly to preschool (more eagerly than mummy if I'm being honest!). Thankfully she has a friend there already who took her under her wing so her day was very good, only had one set of tears when another mum came to pick up their child and it wasn't me lol.

Here she is before preschool this morning. Note the size of her bag, it's almost bigger than she is lol. But it was Disney Princess which is her "thing" right now so that's what she had to have.

Happy Australia Day everyone! What an awesome country we live in, we are so very lucky to live here!

After spending the weekend boating on the river with friends and spending the day out for Mackenzie's birthday yesterday, we didn't actually make it to any Australia Day events today so we made our own fun, a symbol of an Australian summers day, playing under the sprinkler fully clothed lol. It started off as the girls running past me while I was watering the garden and ended up with them being absolutely soaked to the bone and loving every minute of it.

I did it, I knitted a beanie I am proud of! I had mum over this week teaching me how to knit so I can make some delicious baby beanies for shooting and I made my first one so I had to get Kenzie to model it for me :)

What else am I supposed to do when I'm stuck in the house for a week with torn ligaments in my ankle than take photos of my beautiful babies :) We are all going a little stir crazy here so it was a bit of a distraction for awhile.

Yes I know they are in their pj's at 3 pm in the afternoon but I had a reason lol. They were eating ice blocks in the bath (obviously Lex had a green one lol) and were completely sticky so they had early bathtimes today.

Merry Christmas - Sydney Children's Photographer

Well Christmas Eve has lots of traditions in our house. There's feeding the reindeers their oats and glitter food, hanging up the stockings, leaving milk and cookies out for santa, leaving the key on the front door as we don't have a chimney and Lexi has added sticking a picture of what she wants on the front door so santa doesn't forget as he walks in lol.

Then Christmas morning comes and the entire loungeroom is littered with presents and wrapping paper. It fills my heart with joy to see the kids faces as they run out on Christmas morning to see their stack of presents, yes I go a little overboard but it makes me happy lol!

So it's all over for another year. Only 11 months until the Christmas spirit starts again lol.

Well it's Christmas Eve, my favourite day of the year :) The build up of excitement on Christmas Eve is amazing for the kids, hanging out the stockings, leaving the milk and cookies for santa, leaving his key outside the front door and trying to get the kids to bed with all that excitement, making reindeer food to sprinkle on the grass, I love it!

I'll add some photos tomorrow of their Christmas Eve preparation as well as opening their presents tomorrow but for now I just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas from my family to yours :)

Today's Christmas tradition is baking cookies! Sooooooo messy with a 2 and 5 year old but so much fun, we made little snowmen and the girls iced and decorated their own, they really enjoyed it :)

Another huge part of my Christmas is sending out Chrissy cards! This year Lexi sent out a card to every child in her preschool room so that made her for sitting down and writing out 20 odd cards and the little darling did them all by herself, it took her ages!

We took the girls to get their Santa photo taken today and I was actually very happy with the overall experience I have to admit! The girls were great, walked confidently over to Santa and Kenzie even sat on his knee and after a couple of attempts they managed to get some happy faces, santa included lol.

I look forward every year to reading the girls Christmas stories at bedtime for the month of December. The night before Christmas is a huge favourite of mine but this year the girls have a new favourite, Olivia helps with Christmas. We went to the Myer window display when we were visiting family in Melbourne last month and Olivia was the theme for the display. The girls were so enchanted by the story that we had to buy the book and it's been read just a few times now lol.

Nothing says Christmas to me more than a front yard littered with lights and decorations and of course I've had to do ours up this year! The girls love coming out to see the lights each night and switching them on is a highlight for Lexi.

You can imagine how much my hubby is loving me right now after I made him do all this lol.

Today's photos are of the girls opening their advent calendars. I can still remember the joy I had as a kid running to the fridge to open my calendar to see what chocolate I got and to see what was under each square. I see it on my kids faces too, it's so exciting although what isn't exciting is that they are now waking up around the 6.30 mark to get their chocolates asap!

Ahh my favourite time of year is here :) I absolutely love the month of December, I'm still such a kid at heart. I love decorating the tree, the house, baking cookies with my kids, the Christmas parties, wrapping presents etc. Pretty much everything lol.

Between now and Christmas I will be documenting the little things that make Christmas special and keeping them updated on my blog. I hope you enjoy :)

I'm very excited today, I received an email this morning advising me that I am a finalist in the Centro Smile Competition that I entered this year! My photo will be on display at the Seven Hill Centro Centre from Thursday 3rd September until the 20th September so if you happen to be in the centre please come and vote for me :)

Online voting is also available from next Thursday so please check back here then for a link to vote for my photo, I would be extremely grateful :)

Only 16 finalists were chosen from thousands of entries at each centre so it's very exciting to have my photo chosen!

Well I think Winter is on its way out here in Sydney, the last few weeks have been really nice weather and today was absolutely beautiful - hot enough for an ice block so that's just what the girls and I did, enjoyed an ice block in our backyard.

A few weeks ago I second shot a wedding with a friend. It was held at the Chinese Gardens in Darling Harbour and was just so beautiful, the bride looked amazing!

Last week I was lucky enough to go up to Cairns for my friends wedding, it was so beautiful! A night without the hubby and kids in a beautiful hotel room, drinking cocktails with my friends and attending a wedding, who could ask for more, lol!

I took a few pics from the day (including a 6 am sunrise, eek!). I wasn't the hired photographer so couldn't get the best positioning so here are just a few snaps :)

My family went on a holiday to Melbourne recently to stay with my brother and sister in law and while we were there, I did a photoshoot with Mark throughout different locations in Melbourne. It was lots of fun and something different to what I normally do so it was lots of fun.

The idea behind this session is for lifestyle shots, just capturing Mark in relaxed mode.

I had a lovely shoot today with the most adorable children :) Little boy L was so friendly, we played Ben 10 and Batman before the session to get acquainted and he is just so cute. And little baby L is just adorable, such a happy bub!

My best friend S and her husband P came out for a session for me today, they were such troopers. I dragged them all over Watsons Bay trying to get some great images and was very happy with the result - I'm just loving this off camera flash, the colours are brilliant! It was a race against the clock to get the silhouette shot before the sun went down but we made it :)

Our family has reached a big milestone this week, my little girl has gone into her big bed. We are so proud of her, she has adapted really well and is falling asleep in their on her own without coming out too much.

I have been wanting to do this with my girls for so long - a sunset silhouette. We drove to north Palm Beach on Sunday to do this and the girls had a ball playing in the sand and water while we waited for the sun to go down.

I had a newborn session with little baby C today and oh my gosh she made me clucky :) She's so so adorable. She was being a little monkey and wouldn't fall asleep for us for most of the session but towards the end we got the dreamy sleepy newborn shots.

I was lucky enough to shoot little baby A last week and gosh she is beautiful. We couldn't get her to sleep for her session, she was so very alert and wide awake! I've also included a shot of her beautiful big sister too.

Sneak Peak - C's cake smash.

I shot a cake smash for gorgeous little C's first birthday today! He was such a happy baby for me and full of smiles. He was a little hesitant to eat his cake at first, taking only the tiniest taste but by the end of the session the cake was absolutely everywhere!

Smelly gets a bath!!

Now for those of you wondering who Smelly is, he's "Smelly Puppy", Lexi's won't go "anywhere" without him, comfort toy. He was labeled smelly puppy because he has an opening at the back where you can put a block of lavender so that's how he got his name.

I'm ashamed to say he really has lived up to his name recently. Lexi has had him for 12 months and he hasn't had a bath "eek!!". I was too scared to give him one because if he fell apart all hell would break loose. But he was well overdue for one so Lex gave him one yesterday. Here are the photos :)

I did a photoshoot a few weeks back for little M. She was such an easy baby to shoot and slept the whole time, mum and dad tried so hard to work her up to get some photos of her beautiful eyes but she was so sleepy :) Here she is along with her beautiful big sister.
