Hi there and welcome to my blog. Thanks for dropping in :)

I will be keeping my blog updated with sneak peaks and favourite photos of recent sessions, new products, general business information as well as photographs from the lives of my own family. Please check back often!

Also please feel free to leave me a comment or two, I absolutely love receiving them. You can leave a comment by selecting the comments word at the bottom of each post.

Now a little about me. Hmm, where to start. I’m Julie and I’m a mum to two beautiful energetic little girls aged 5 and 3. They are the light of my husband’s and my life and are lots of fun. I love anything sweet and nasty, especially chocolate! I love coffee (guilty!) and drink way too much! I love to chat (as you can probably tell by how much I’ve written, lol) and love spending time with friends and family.

I’m so blessed to be able to do something I thoroughly enjoy. Capturing those private and intimate moments between a family.

So please sit back, put your feet up, grab that coffee and enjoy browsing my blog.

My blog has a new home!

I'm very excited to be launching my new blog today!

I’ve been wanting to upgrade to a classy, streamlined, user friendly blog for a long time so after three years, here we are!

Please change your bookmarks to update the new web address which is http://julievellaphotography.com.au/blog/

I will leave this blog open as I have a tonne of posts that I could unfortunately not convert over, this blog had a communication problem with my new blog! Don’t you love technology lol. However all new posts will be at the new blog.

I hope you enjoy, please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.

Twin Baby Belly - Sydney Maternity Photographer

I did a maternity session on the weekend for our good friends who are expecting not one but two little bundles in the next month or two! Poor mum is starting to feel tired as you would imagine but she looks great, you would hardly tell there are two babies in there!

Can't wait to shoot their newborn session soon (but not too soon little ones, stay put for a little while longer!)

My Ballerina - Sydney Children's Photographer

Ok now I know I'm biased but isn't my little girl just the most beautiful thing! She has started dance class and got her first outfit yesterday, she is so excited and constantly keeps alternating between her shoes in the house. I'm so proud!

Fun Cake Smash - Sydney Baby Photographer

What a fun cake smash session I had today :) Little A is such a smiley girl, she absolutely loved her cake and got straight into it without any delay. After a few minutes she was off and running, there was cake everywhere. She had a great time and so did I :)

I just love the first one, it looks like she's going to dive right in! I love the handprint she made in the cake.

Hope you enjoy your sneak peek L.

Pics on a bus - Sydney Children's Photographer

Last year I had a photography session to shoot advertising photos for Our Lady Star of the Sea Preschool in Terrigal and Forestville on the NSW Central Coast. The co-ordinator was kind enough to send me some photos recently of their advertising, one of which is on the side of a bus, it's huge and looks great! The other photos are of one of their brochures.

Beautiful Belly - Sydney Maternity Photographer

A few weeks ago I had a session with my best friend and her husband and her gorgeous little belly. We had such a lovely session, started off at home and then went to the park to snap a few more shots. We had a lovely time although poor Sam was freezing!

Hope you enjoy your sneak peek guys, sorry there is only two to start with, the rest will follow in a slideshow sometime next week.

Cute Cake Smash - Sydney Children's Photographer

I had such a fun session today. I shot little M's cake smash. At first he wasn't really sure about the texture of the icing and wasn't very happy but once he realised it was a chocolate cake all for him he soon cheered up! And as you can see he made quite a mess lol.

Hope you enjoy your sneak peek K & S :)
